In early 2009, when Tumblr was taking off, I set one up. I didn’t really ‘get’ it and so it just became an import place where blog posts and tweets came to die.
But now I’m in academia and I teach, write and research new media and social media, and Tumblr’s become a bit of a ‘thing’ lately, yet I feel I know so little about it. So here I am, back, and trying to learn how this whole place works. Can someone chuck me a cushion?
